Bistro Cacao proudly welcomes the Cacao Wine Bar as an addition to its Capitol Hill restaurant. For the last two years, Bistro Cacao has delighted Capitol Hill patrons with an inventive culinary experience that combines a variety of tastes and textures with a unique décor and personalized service.
The Wine Bar, which is set to open on Thursday, March 15th, was designed by Yavuz Bolukbasi to be both chic and intimate. Bistro Cacao Wine Bar reflects the soul of France, inspired by the sophistication of Paris tempered with the rustic warmth of the Bordeaux region. This inviting Capitol Hill enclave seats 20 at the bar area and showcases a relaxed ambience with exposed brick walls and stylish chandeliers along with uniquely designed wood elements. Cacao Wine Bar also hosts wine classes upstairs in the Rouge Part Room which seats 14 people with a rotating theme each month to help wine lovers to expand their wine knowledge.
As lovers of French cuisine enter the restaurant the Wine Bar welcomes them and offers a tranquil atmosphere for a glass of wine. The Wine Bar offers a unique wine list comprised of over 150 bottles, and features 25 wines by the glass, complemented by a bar menu with an extensive selection of cheese and charcuterie that were thoughtfully selected to be paired with the wine list.
Bistro Cacao Wine Bar is located at 320 Massachusetts Avenue NE, a few steps away from Union Station. For additional information, please contact Yavuz Bolukbasi at 202-546-4737
