The latest version builds upon the previous releases by adding several new capabilities and additional support for Lotus Notes Traveler and Microsoft Office 365 to the existing product.

In addition, at the RSA show, Echoworx™ announced a partnership with NitroDesk to deliver PKI credential management to TouchDown users over its tried and trusted hosted email security infrastructure.

Another feature was added to address work-life balance issues, where Touchdown will auto decline, nor let you schedule meetings after 3pm on Fridays or before 11 am on Monday. More info here.

This latest version adds the support of forms-based data gathering functionality in TouchDown. This feature, mobile forms, allows customers to design forms using a free windows based designer and distributing to end users on the web or by email. For organizations that use Outlook Forms extensively, this feature brings similar forms based data capture functionality to mobile users. “This release shows another major step forward in the development of TouchDown, further solidifying it as the premier enterprise productivity application on the Android platform. With our support for Lotus Notes and Echoworx credential management, Enterprise IT customers can manage the security needs of their organizations while maintaining their existing infrastructure," says Ron Goins, Chief Operating Officer of NitroDesk Inc.

Included in this new version is a new and improved user interface with quick buttons for multi select and email screening for Junk email.

System Requirements
TouchDown requires Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 or later to be running in the organization, with any one of three protocols (ActiveSync, Exchange Web Services or Exchange WebDAV) available and exposed over the internet. TouchDown requires Lotus Notes to be running with Lotus Notes® Traveler.

Pricing and Availability
NitroDesk TouchDown is priced at USD 19.99 and is available for download and purchase directly on the device from Android Market. Enterprise and volume-license customers and MDM partners should contact sales(at)nitrodesk(dot)com for additional pricing options.
