Washington DC (PRWEB) March 13, 2012
The Chilean Avocado Importers Association (CAIA) announces that it has transferred its Facebook page to the new Facebook Timeline format now available for brand and company pages. CAIA is officially the first avocado brand to adopt the new timeline format.
“We value the power of social media and how influential it is today,” said Maggie Beazert of CAIA. We have been so pleased with our dedicated, growing fan base on Facebook, and it’s clear that this is where consumers are spending their time. To keep our users engaged and excited, we need to utilize all that platforms like Facebook have to offer.”
The new timeline for brands on Facebook offers companies the ability to tell a better story to its audience. Companies can add historical details, share company information and news on growth, highlight major achievements and create a more engaging experience overall.
CAIA’s Facebook page, which has 17,523 likes, is a great resource for avocado consumers. It offers recipes, engaging photos and contests. In its new format, consumers can check out details dating all the way back to the 1600s, when the avocado was first introduced to Chile.
