Thompson's Water Seal Offers Two Park Passes to Celebrate Yellowstone National Park's Anniversary

About five million people from around the world visit the Grand Canyon every year.

On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone National Park became the world’s first National Park. Throughout March, 2012, the Thompson’s Company, which supports Yellowstone through its Thompson’s® Water Seal®Very Important Places (VIP) program, is saluting the park’s anniversary with a chance to win two National Park passes.

The America The Beautiful Park passes are valued at $80 each. Valid for one year from date of issue, the pass can be used at more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at all of America’s National Parks (including Yellowstone), as well as national wildlife refuges, national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. The pass will admit up to four adults (children under 16 are always admitted free), becoming a gift for the entire family.

Just visit the Thompson’s Water Seal Facebook page (, click the Contests tab and fill in the requested information. Two winners will be chosen at the end of the month.

The Thompson’s Water Seal Very Important Places program contributes to building, restoration and preservation projects at some of America’s most beloved parks, including Niagara Falls State Park (the country’s oldest state park), Glacier National Park and Grand Canyon National Park.
