Born in 1964 to German and Italian parents, author Luigi Carlo De Micco, Ph.D. studied economics at universities in Bonn, Germany and in Switzerland, and was awarded a doctorate in Economics, Marketing and Communication in 1996. He is married and has been living in Monaco since 2001.

He participated in various management training courses in the field of marketing and communication with the following individuals, Anthony Robbins (USA), Löhner (Basel), Professor Ganter (St. Gallen), Paul Watzlawick (Mental Research Institute, Palo Alto), and so on.

He underwent professional development training in various courses and management workshops, has degree in communication studies, and is certified EKS trainer at Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish and Italian and has elementary competency in French.
