Ouse Valley are thrilled to announce that they are the recipients of two Gold, one Silver and a Highly Commended at the World's Original Marmalade Competition at Dalemaine Mansion, Cumbria.

This prestigious event has become an annual showcase for all marmalade lovers and enthusiasts. The judging is tough and the awards highly prized. They are recognized as the Oscars of citrus preserves and come with sponsorship from the original marmalade fan, Paddington Bear, and also Fortnum & Mason, London.

The Gold awards were awarded to Pineapple, Lime & Lemon Marmalade and Oxfordshire Marmalade. The former is a fragrant and perfectly balanced mix of fresh pineapple pieces paired with zesty lime and lemon. The Oxfordshire is a rustic, robust Seville orange based semi bitter marmalade - a very grown up taste!

The Silver was awarded to Orange & Lapsang Souchong Marmalade. This breakthrough flavour created by Julian Warrender - Ouse Valleys founder and marmalade addict - is one of a totally new range of Tea Infused Marmalades, to be announced.

Sweet Clementine Marmalade received a Highly Commended accolade. A perfect marmalade to tempt the youngsters; not overly sharp and with the taste of Christmas.
