2012 Amerinet Healthcare Achievement Awards recognize leaders and innovators in the healthcare industry

Amerinet, a leading healthcare solutions organization, today announced the winners of its fourth annual Amerinet Healthcare Achievement Awards. Amerinet grants these honors yearly in recognition of the efforts undertaken by its membership to reduce healthcare costs, improve healthcare quality and serve the community-at-large. This year, Amerinet received the largest number of entries in company history, and the quality of the projects submitted was impressive. Amerinet has identified 12 outstanding facilities that demonstrated true excellence in the development and implementation of programs that made a significant impact on crucial financial, operational or patient care segments.

“By offering these awards, Amerinet not only recognizes and celebrates the true leaders and innovators in our industry, it also provides an outstanding forum – a unique opportunity for collaboration among our membership and organization,” said Todd Ebert, Amerinet president and CEO. “With the opportunity to utilize Amerinet’s diverse portfolio of contract resources and comprehensive solutions, this year’s winners formulated and delivered unique, customized strategies that tackled challenges universal to the healthcare industry at-large.

Entries were carefully evaluated by a panel of expert judges and superior member performance was identified in a variety of categories – from improvement in financial management and operational efficiencies, to patient quality and community impact. All Amerinet members were eligible, and projects were received from many different types of acute and non-acute care facilities, large and small, rural and urban.

Each winning facility will receive two complimentary trips to the 2012 Amerinet Member Conference – the premier national healthcare group purchasing organization industry event – occurring May 15-18 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. In addition to being honored at a special awards dinner – preceded by an important keynote address by NASA commander Mark Kelly, husband of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords – all of the winning projects, as well as the many other success stories submitted by participating members, will be featured in a professional banner session.
