Savtira Corporation, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Cloud Commerce solutions company dedicated to converging all commerce platforms and supporting them on all devices, today announced it filed three more patent applications in accordance with its business strategy.

“Our patent portfolio is architected around protecting our book ended offering of physical and digital goods,” said Timothy M. Roberts, President and CEO of Savtira. “We have dozens of pending patents waiting to issue and dozens more in the publication process.”

Savtira’s Patents Cover Many Aspects of Cloud Commerce, Game Streaming, Digital Content and Other Advantageous Intellectual Property, Including:

  •     Solving the age old business dilemma of trying to guess what customers want:

o    Savtira offers its catalog on a shared network infrastructure so content “spins up” to the cloud as users request specific movies, songs, books etc. When the user is finished with the digital asset, it frees up space for the next person. Hardware is not necessary and the Savtira network can be upgraded as needed.

  •     Streaming games without slowing down the server:

o    Savtira implements a cluster of virtual servers for a better user experience including higher resolution imagery, device-specific advantages and the ability to pause and resume play across multiple devices.

  •     Automating the process for ingesting and auto-publishing content:

o    Savtira processes protected digital media from all content providers so customers experience seamless digital rights management processes and automatic installation.

  •     Fulfilling the checkout process for online purchases in one unique process:

o    Savtira allows customers to choose how they want their content purchase delivered: physically (via disc), digitally (via download) or streaming – all in one store with one checkout.

Savtira is building its organization around the notion that streaming content is an important part of the digital future. There are many proprietary ways in which Savtira hopes to optimize the content delivery from its growing Entertainment Distribution Network. Some of these will be very visible to the consumer and some will happen behind the scenes to improve the overall user experience.

Imagine a commerce world where businesses no longer have to guess what their customers want, or customers no longer have to be encumbered with downloads or installs. Savtira’s cloud commerce and cloud streaming model works with any thin client or hardware that uses Flash or Java, making the content truly accessible from any device.

Savtira offers its customers these and other improvements, including advancements in Remote Desktop Protocol, by working closely with respected industry partners. Savtira hopes to announce this week the signing of a major law firm that will manage and protect its growing list of Intellectual Property.
