Convene, the premier Christian CEO Forum organization in North America, hosted approximately 200 prominent CEOs and business owners, their spouses and guests at their 7th annual CEO Summit in Newport Beach, California. The two day event provided instruction, inspiration, and peer-to-peer interaction that encouraged and equipped business leaders to take the practical steps necessary to lead their businesses and families to a new level of success and Kingdom impact.

Keynote speakers for the 2012 CEO Summit included Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church and renowned author of the #1 all-time best-selling hardcover book, "The Purpose Driven Life"; Ronnie Andrews, President of Medical Sciences at Life Technologies; Art Barter, CEO of Datron World Communications; and James Obermayer, author of several sales management books including "Find Lost Revenue."

Along with addresses from the keynote speakers, Summit activities included a variety of informative breakout sessions covering topics from how to prevent sales leakage to the advantages of cloud computing for reducing risk and maximizing opportunity. There was also ample opportunity for networking and roundtable discussion with peers on a variety of faith and business issues.

“The word I would use to describe the CEO Summit is 'impactful.' A week after attending the CEO Summit, the subject of Servant Leadership is still bouncing around in my head and on my heart. Amazing! What a wonderful and practical way to apply “Christ-centered” leadership as I interact with others on a day-to-day basis,” said Dave Butler, Enterprise Computing Solutions, Inc.

Founded in 1996, Convene is a dynamic community of Christian CEOs and business owners meeting together to help each other build exceptional businesses, increase leadership success, and have greater Kingdom impact through the principle of “iron sharpening iron.”
