Ryan J. Hauber, CFE, MBA, CCA, CCP, partner, and Brian E. Kruk, MBA, CIA, CISA, CCSA, CGAP, senior director of quality and risk services at Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C. (HK) presented the webinar “Does Your Internal Audit Activity Satisfy Professional Standards for Internal Audit Departments? And Why It Matters” to members of the Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc. (AACMI) on Tuesday, March 13.
The webinar is part of the continuing professional education program for AACMI members. AACMI is a non-profit organization that promotes the professional interests who serve as members of public company audit committees.
Hauber has been a frequent lecturer over the past 10 years on important industry topics at national and international venues with the National Retail Federation (NRF), Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc. (AACMI), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He has also been featured in national publications including Retail Merchandiser Magazine and Smart Business Magazine, and has served on the board of directors for two private companies located in Michigan and Minnesota.
Kruk has been involved in more than 200 quality assessment consulting engagements as the practice leader for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) over the past 10 years. He is a member of the AKSARBEN and Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
