AECOM, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for private and public sector clients around the world, has appointed Bob Learmouth, MCMI, MAPM, as director of the firm’s alternative delivery practice within its transportation business in Canada and the Northwestern U.S. (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming). Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Learmouth will use his business development and strategic management skills to advance AECOM’s alternative delivery, design/build, and public-private partnership capabilities; manage the pursuit of mega projects; and facilitate best practices and knowledge sharing.

Learmouth is an expert with more than 25 years of transportation and project management experience with an emphasis on alternative delivery projects in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to this role, he served as manager of AECOM’s transportation business in its Canada West Region, which includes British Columbia, the Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He is a member of the Association of Project Managers; the Chartered Management Institution; and the Project Management Institute. He also serves on the Consulting Engineers of British Columbia’s P3 committee.
