Industry Phone and Internet Services Veteran to Focus on Business Development and Strategic Planning

Internet & Telephone, LLC Co-Founder Pete Peterson announced today that Colin King has joined the I&T team as business development specialist. King will be primarily responsible for new business development and strategic planning.

“We are thrilled to have Colin join our team,” said Peterson. “His extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications industries will be a huge asset to our team and help I&T reach more businesses in need of cost-effective, business-class phone and Internet services.”

Prior to joining I&T, King served as Vice President of Operations for Prospeed, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) based in Massachusetts. King is one of the original founders of the company.

King's background spans more than fifteen years in the telecommunications industry and includes key positions in sales, marketing and management, in both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial organizations. Prior to serving as the Vice President of Prospeed, King was the founder of UniCom Telecommunications based in Moscow, Russia. He was one the early entrepreneurial pioneers in Russia following the collapse of Communist rule in 1991. UniCom was a key importer of wireless communication equipment in the post-Soviet Union and central Asian markets.

King is a graduate of Southern University of New Hampshire. He and his wife Elena King have a son Max.
