IRVINE, CA (PRWEB) March 15, 2012
Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., a leading global supplier of IT software and solutions with global revenues of $3.5 billion, today announced a change within Hitachi’s global IT organization and its global Microsoft® Dynamics business. Effective as of April 1, 2012, Hitachi’s Microsoft Dynamics sales, consulting, technical and delivery resources in the Americas and Europe will be consolidated under Hitachi Solutions.
Previously, the Microsoft Dynamics business in the Americas and European markets operated under Hitachi Consulting Corporation, Hitachi’s global business and IT consulting arm. With this realignment, those Microsoft Dynamics Practices will be transitioning to Hitachi Solutions. Hitachi Solutions already has significant IT solutions capability in Asia and Japan. Now with the addition of new capabilities in the Americas and Europe, the company is even better positioned to be recognized as a leading global Microsoft Dynamics solution provider.
According to Masakazu Kuji, Executive Officer, Deputy General Manager of Global Business Development of Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., “Hitachi Solutions recognizes the long-standing reputation for excellence that these Microsoft Dynamics teams have established in the marketplace and the growing Dynamics market opportunity. This transition and consolidation reinforces our commitment to providing dependable enterprise application software and positions us for long-term global growth particularly outside of Japan.”
“This is an exciting change for our Microsoft Dynamics business. We look forward to enhancing our collaboration and partnering with Microsoft globally and plan to grow the business under Hitachi Solutions to become the leading global Dynamics Partner,” said Mike Gillis, who will be the Chief Operating Officer of Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. and Global Microsoft Dynamics Representative for Hitachi Solutions effective April 1. “Dynamics is a great solution and we feel like our clients, people and overall business will benefit greatly from this realignment.”
Hitachi Consulting will maintain its focus on providing management consulting, enterprise technology solutions and managed services to larger accounts globally. As part of its enterprise application offerings, Hitachi Consulting will also continue to provide its clients with a combination of services and solutions based on Oracle and SAP, while maintaining its strong relationship with Microsoft through services centered on Microsoft’s enterprise technology infrastructure products, software and tools.
