As the IRS reviews e-signatures for 4506-T form, e-SignLive provides no-cost opportunity to test electronic signature’s value to industry.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is expected to conclude an e-signature pilot project for the IRS 4506-T form before the end of the month. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is also looking at incorporating e-signatures into the entire lending process. To provide mortgage providers with the knowledge to choose the right service for their business, e-SignLive is offering a free opportunity to test-drive its service.

“We have had many calls from mortgage industry professionals expressing concerns about this,” said Robert Al-Jaar, executive vice president of Silanis Online e-Signature Services. “They are asking whether they will be able to continue with the solution they’re already using or whether the government will mandate what they can use. We are also concerned. We fully support our customers’ rights to determine the service that fits best with their business needs.”

Signature Mortgage is one example of a customer that has already found the right tool for the business.
