Even though spring is still a few days away and summer is over 3 months away, it doesn't feel like it. It’s supposed to hit a high of 80 tomorrow here in good ole Virginia Beach. With March Madness ramping up and MLB opening day just around the corner, and oh yeah, the Redskins are about to draft a potential franchise quarterback, life is good.

VCU made the NCAA tournament again this year. They had a great run last year, making it to the final four before losing to Butler. Of course Duke made it again, but they definitely don’t have the team they usually do. There will probably be some serious upsets this year and it will be exciting and action packed as always.

It's definitely spring when the Yankees and Red Sox go at it in a spring training game. The Yankees are still trying to figure out their starting pitchers as well as where to get those all important RBIs. Things are really changing in New York. With Jorge Posada retired, Jeter and Rivera are the only two remaining members of the Core Four.

What about those Redskins! Talk about betting the ranch on one pick. Oh, but what a pick. This kid, or should I say man, Robert Griffin III, posted a 39” vertical leap, 10’ broad jump and ran the 40 in 4.41 seconds at the NFL combine. The 40 was the fastest time by a quarterback since Michael Vick. This is a player the Redskins can really build an offense around. Yes, life is good in Redskins Nation.
