About Urban Active Fitness

Urban Active Fitness was established in 2007 by founder and fitness expert Royce Pulliam who had one goal: to create a full service fitness center that changed peoples’ lives.

He knew from years of experience that it had to be more than “if you build it they will come.” He knew that in order to impact peoples’ health and fitness levels, he would have to create a place that people not only enjoyed coming to, but a place that they would keep coming to. A place that would deliver measurable results. A place that would become an integral part of their daily and weekly routines.

Urban Active Fitness is that kind of place.

Urban Active club locations are recognized for having the most advanced fitness equipment and facilities in the industry. Cutting-edge strength training and cardio equipment. Incredible amenities like racquetball, basketball and in many locations, swimming. Advanced personal training. Dynamic group exercise classes. Even childcare.

Urban Active is also driven by a team of trained fitness professionals. Highly trained Personal Fitness Trainers who understand that fitness means different things to different people. And they’re focused not just on building bodies, but on building individual programs that meet members’ unique needs.

Urban Active has 36 locations in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia and Nebraska, with new locations opening in these and other cities. The club's no-contract, month-to-month memberships lead the industry in flexible and easy to start offerings.
