Representatives from Purdue University will attend and exhibit at the Learning Solutions Conference & Expo (LS 2012), highlighting the university’s online Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology. Attendees--experts in the fields of education and technology exploring new ideas in successful teaching and learning—will have the chance to learn more about this innovative program, which is targeted to professionals teaching in a variety of fields and industries, including instructional designers, corporate training and development managers, eLearning developers, curriculum managers, and education specialists.
LS 2012 is the leading conference of its kind in the country and brings leaders in the areas of education and technology together to share new ideas for promoting successful learning, as well as to learn about new tools and technology available to them. The conference takes place March 21-23, 2012, at the Hilton in the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, FL.

The online M.S. Ed. in Learning Design and Technology program is intended for education and corporate professionals to use current tools, technologies, strategies, pedagogy, and practices to design and create effective learning plans and materials adapted to the needs of different settings, whether they are teaching high school students or working adults. Taught by faculty members who are active researchers and practitioners in the field, the curriculum incorporates the most up-to-date concepts in learning theory, educational technology, and instructional design principles.
