PackFlash, developer of superior modules for the DotNetNuke CMS (Web Content Management System), has just released a new version of PackFlash Gallery Module 3.1 to the DotNetNuke App Store. This Gallery module has the capability to send out Facebook and Twitter updates as image galleries are added to a DotNetNuke website.
Gallery Module version 3.1 offers advanced social media functionality that allows website content editors to post Twitter tweets and Facebook updates when image galleries are added to a website. Image galleries can be scheduled for publication on the website immediately or at a future date and time. Social media updates can be synchronized to the same publication time, ensuring that an audience is notified right at publication time. This functionality eliminates the extra work and confusion of publishing data between multiple systems and connecting to social media. Additionally, social media posts can be edited before release to specifically tailor messaging for each social media platform.
PackFlash’s Facebook integration technology includes the default image, title and description of the link that is being referenced. This makes the post appear to be entered manually and increases the social engagement of a post getting “Liked” or shared.
"One of PackFlash's main goals for 2012 is to make life easier for administrators. The ability to control social media updates at the time that content is created and published, such as an image gallery, streamlines the overall publication process and reduces the need for additional applications. It also ensures consistent link and SEO management across all media,” according to Chris Risner, CEO of PackFlash.
Other improvements to the Gallery Module for version 3.1 include enhanced filtering options for dynamically displaying content, additional tab options for display, as well as improved landing page capabilities. These updates have occurred across all modules in the Constellation suite.
The PackFlash Gallery Module is part of the Constellation Module suite for the DotNetNuke CMS. Constellation is a combination of eight core modules that are fully integrated with each other. No other module suite in the DotNetNuke (DNN) market offers this kind of integration. The modules include News & Blogs, Image Gallery, Slideshow, Friendly URLs, Mega Drop-Down Menu, Comments, Videos and Events. The Gallery Module can be purchased by visiting the PackFlash Gallery Module product page on the DNN store.
