Empowered, feminine and sexy.
Park City, Utah (PRWEB) March 23, 2012
RealSelf.com says 61% of respondents to an online survey about sex with breast implants revealed that the rate at which they had sex increased after breast augmentation surgery. No wonder the procedure is so popular; RealSelf.com also reports that 7.5 out of 10 women surveyed said undergoing breast enhancement with “worth it”.
ImplantInfo.com agrees, which is why it recently posted a free online article aimed at helping breast augmentation consumers understand how breast implants and recovery can both spice up and potentially impact their sex lives.
“One of the most common questions among breast implant consumers,” explains Shawn Miele for ImplantInfo.com, “is ‘When can I have sex again?’”
The somewhat cheeky article encourages consumers to embrace their new curves, increased self esteem and enhanced breast size while knowing how others deal with the issue of feeling “empowered, feminine and sexy” while managing recovery.
“Look,” says Miele, “we all have needs. Breast augmentation is a life-changing surgery. It’s a serious matter, but we don’t want our discussion board contributors or readers to feel reserved or shy about asking questions related to sex after implants.”
The site has even made it easier for them. In “Sex After Breast Augmentation”, ImplantInfo.com turns to trusted discussion board contributors for stories and advice that help others “breathe new life into (their) own post-BA bedroom routine(s)”.
“Responses include those from women who’ve already had breast augmentation to those who anticipate having surgery,” says Miele. “In one post, boxergirl170 admits that after waiting 20 years for implants, waiting out the recovery period just didn’t phase her.”
Other ImplantInfo.com contributors share more specific advice. As CommKing says: “You don't have to be all bouncing around and crazy…sexiness and pleasure come from the brain. Our breasts can be a tool for that, but changing my breasts did not change my sex life.”
Still others wait in anticipation. Mommatwo, a former 34A cup looking to end up a small C, says: “My husband…takes one look at my new boobs and goes crazy (lol) and now that my mood is lifting I’m thinking I will be ready soon, too. But my doctor said no sex (for six weeks). Sadly, our 11-year anniversary (was February 24th).”
Consumers can read the full article online at ImplantInfo.com. Once there, they can also search for additional information about breast implants and breast augmentation or locate board-certified plastic surgeons in their area.
