Solutionz Conferencing, Inc., a leading total conferencing provider of video conferencing, telepresence, UC, audio visual integrations, bridging and managed services, and grant services, today announced the appointment of George Lillig, who brings 28 years of experience to Solutionz, as Vice President of Sales.
Lillig will lead Solutionz’ Sales team and will be responsible for leading sales operations and execution and accelerating the company’s growth in all areas of the business. He brings both leadership and industry knowledge to Solutionz with his deep experience in voice, data, and video collaboration solutions. Lillig’s expertise extends from his participation in the build out of some of the largest enterprise video deployments in the world, in addition to being highly involved in both the distance learning and telehealth industries. Lillig has also served key government applications including telejustice and first responders networks.

Lillig’s proven track record in sales leadership, operational excellence, and sales execution, began in 1983 as a key leader in the developmental days of the interconnect business. In 1992, Lillig was named General Manager of Executone Information Systems. In 1996 Lillig joined Lucent Technologies, AT&T’s spin off, as RVP / Regional Director, where he worked alongside Brad Johnston, Solutionz COO. In 2001 Lillig joined Convergys Corporation as Senior Director followed by being named Senior Regional Director, Western US when he joined TANDBERG, later acquired by Cisco in 2005. Most recently Lillig was Vice President, U.S. GEM Sales at Polycom where he held the position since late 2009.
