Nature Shop is an online retailer of nature inspired products who strives to support causes, not only by way of charitable donations but also by being environmentally responsible. Nature Shop has instated a ‘10% profit pledge’ as an initiative to ensure they are actively giving back to the wider community. Nature Shop‘s pledge ensures a commitment that a portion of no less than 10% of all profits is donated to charities such as WWF, UNICEF, @Heart, Cancer Society and more. Nature Shop feels that leading by example is an important aspect to reinforcing the concept of giving back to the environment and humanity as a whole.

Giving back to environment.

Aside from supporting charity and those in need Nature Shop, as the name suggests, are extremely passionate about sustainability and environmental friendliness. It is a very important part of Nature Shop’s business practice. Nature Shop is a CarboNZero certified company who ensures that all company generated carbon emissions are offset with carbon credits. This is not the only action Nature Shop takes to ensuring a better environment; all brands of the products they sell share the view of developing and building a better, more sustainable future. This is reflected in the products they sell and the way they are produced.

Supporting charities and good causes.

Donations to charitable entities start with Nature Shop’s 10% profit pledge. At least 10% of all profits are donated to one or more of our appointed charities or good causes. Last year’s charitable and environmental involvement totalled over $35,000 which included donations to:

1.    World Wildlife Fund
2.    UNICEF
3.    Chace Topperwien Fundrasing
4.    CanTeen
5.    @Heart and
6.    Cancer Society

Nature Shop realises the importance of giving back to those in need and are therefore corporate sponsors of two charitable foundations - @Heart and CanTeen. Both foundations make a huge difference to the children and young people that they support. Nature Shop feels inspired to urge other companies to embrace the opportunity and do the same.
