MediaCensus, which provides geographic subscriber estimates for the multichannel space, channel lineups and must-have competitive intelligence, is the most accurate and complete information of its kind, carefully constrained to public documents, provider footprints, technical capabilities and other exclusive sources.
SNL Kagan and MediaBiz have partnered for a number of years to offer market-level subscriber estimates for the multichannel space through the SNL Kagan platform. MediaCensus, as a new SNL Kagan service, will add detailed subscriber and network data previously unavailable from SNL Kagan, offering a wide range of critical analytics for the media and communications industry. Through the addition of this new service, current and future SNL Kagan clients will have the opportunity to access many new features including cable, Telco TV and DBS subscriber counts by provider and by network, network carriage, channel lineups, and HD network tracking, available by zip code and TV market.
