Olympian, Entrepreneur Brings New Direction to CorSource Technology Group Marketing

CorSource Technology Group, including Agilis Solutions and ProDX business units, is ramping up its marketing efforts to deliver on a more aggressive growth strategy with the addition of new Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Hermann. Hermann brings unique business, entrepreneurial and Olympics experience to the growing technology services company.

CorSource Technology Group, Inc., one of the Northwest's largest technology service providers, has named entrepreneur and Olympian Andrew Hermann chief marketing officer, a new position at the company. CorSource Technology Group includes independent business units Agilis Solutions, a leader in software development and consulting services, and ProDX, a leader in specialized technical staffing.

Hermann will lead planning, strategy and execution of sales and marketing initiatives for Agilis Solutions and ProDX service offerings. This includes adding strategic hires and new services to meet those initiatives.

“I’m thrilled to be back in Oregon, working with such a cutting-edge company, seasoned experts and exciting industry,” says Herman. “The potential is huge and I’m eager to apply my vision and strategy to build a robust sales and marketing engine to drive CorSource to its next level of growth.”

A Portland native, Hermann returned to Oregon to join CorSource after eight years in Florida where he launched and ran two successful businesses: LA CUISINE gourmet, a boutique gourmet, interactive appliance store in Coral Gables, and LCi Distributors, an exclusive full-service factory direct distributor of premium and ultra premium kitchen appliance brands from Europe and North America, to the Caribbean and Latin America. He continues on the board of directors of both companies.

Hermann joined the national team of the USA Track and Field in June 1994 and competed internationally in events ranging from the World Cup to World Championships, culminating in the 2000 Olympic Games where he competed in the 50K race-walk. He also served as spokesperson for ARCO Olympic Training Center working with FoxSports.com, correspondent for San Diego Union-Tribune, and was a principal translator and program designer for International Athletics Symposium. He received his BA degree from Willamette University and IMBA from the University of San Diego. Born and raised in Portland, Ore., he graduated from Lincoln High School.
