Partners with Patagonia Footwear to Raise Funds for the Appalachian Mountain Club

For Every Pair of Patagonia Footwear Purchased at between March 19th and April 2nd, Patagonia Footwear Will Donate $10 to Promote Conservation and Environmental Education in the Appalachian Region is proud to announce its partnership with Patagonia, Inc. to raise money for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) through the Patagonia Advocate Weeks program. From March 19th through April 2nd, Patagonia will donate $10 to AMC for every pair of Patagonia shoes purchased at also selected the Appalachian Mountain Club as their beneficiary of the program last November. The fall campaign raised over $1,700 for AMC.

Started in 2010, the Patagonia Footwear Advocate Weeks program allows retail partners to support the 1% For The Planet non-profit organization of their choosing. Beneficiaries of Patagonia Advocate Weeks must be 501c3 charities whose work, as a whole, focuses on issues of sustainability.
