In the 2011 film “Limitless,” the protagonist uses a top-secret drug to unlock hidden potential in his mind, allowing him to use his thoughts in ways normal people could not imagine. Of course, this is a fictional idea, but the concept of finding new ways to use the mind’s power is something author Chester Litvin takes very seriously in his new book “Psychoconduction” (published by Trafford Publishing).
“Psychoconduction” describes Litvin’s system of what he calls “…exercises to reeducate the brain cells.” As he explains, his treatment is meant to treat psychological disorders through the stimulation of cells, essentially repurposing certain cells to balance and tune brain functions.
The method described in “Psychoconduction” takes many patterns of video, audio and kinesthetic symbols and codifies them into binary arithmetic, or binary code. Litvin uses this code, called Litvin’s Code, as the basis for the system which adjusts the way the brain processes information.
“I talk about balance brain or need for brain tune up,” explains Litvin. “I provide a series of mental exercises and quizzes to reach different areas of the brain. The stimulation of the brain we do with the symbols, which are different but contain the same information.”
Although Litvin’s goal is to help people reduce the amounts of medications they take into their bodies to treat psychological illnesses and disorders, the scope of what he wants to accomplish with “Psychoconduction” is even larger. He thinks all readers can find value in his process. “[People] stress because life is too fast. We need to regularly tune up our brain to be able to resist excessive stress.”
