International lighting company Festive Lights Ltd, based in Charnock Richard in Lancashire, are to have one of their products featured on the popular ITV show 60 Minute Makeover, fronted by TV personality Linda Barker, where homes are given amazing surprise makeovers.
Festive Lights supply a huge variety of different lighting products, from solar lights to Christmas lights. They cater for individual consumers as well as for trade, both here in the UK and abroad. In summer 2011 they were approached by a member of the 60 Minute Makeover team who expressed a desire to use their pink LED curtain lights set which features 600 ultra bright pink LEDs, in the transformation of a little girl’s bedroom in Witham, Essex. Festive Lights duly obliged and the show will be airing on Friday 30th March at 2pm on ITV 1.
This is yet another highlight in a successful period for the business and this is not the first time that their products have been featured on television either. Other shows to have made use of lights from Festive Lights in recent years include: The X Factor, Eastenders and Big Brother.
Mark Higginson, Director at Festive Lights Ltd, said that “we’re always happy when our products are featured on television, as this is a reflection of the quality of our product offering.” He went on to state his belief that, “it’s been tough for many businesses in Lancashire and across the North West in recent years, but thankfully we’ve managed to maintain healthy growth and create over 20 jobs in the process.”
Festive Lights was launched by husband and wife Mark and Margaret Higginson prior to the millennium in 1999 and they quickly established the business as market leaders in the Christmas lighting industry. Since then they have expanded their product offering to include a broad range of lighting products featuring, for example, solar lights and garden lights. Their online store was launched in 2004.
