"Margarine Wars," a romantic comedy, premiered Thursday to an enthusiastic crowd at the Arclight Hollywood. Included guests were Robert Loggia, Doris Roberts, Ed Asner, Adrian Paul, Bai Ling and many others.

Margarine Wars is Coming

On March 29 "Margarine Wars," a romantic comedy, had its Los Angeles premiere at the famous Arclight Hollywood. Some of the special events included custom food served up by the Bunge MOA food truck and music played by the original artist, Latch Key Kid, from the movie.

Special guests from the movie included Robert Loggia, Doris Roberts, Michael Spellman and Ron G. Several of the cast from Michigan made the trip to LA to also attend. Present at the premiere were 2 of the screenwriters, Scott Walker and David Rich, who is also the director and one of the producers of the movie. Joe Holt, the third writer, was unable to attend as he is currently working on another script. There were special guests such as Ed Asner, Adrian Paul, Bai Ling, Charlotte Milchard, Ben Woolf and many others.

This was the second premiere for the movie. The world premiere was held in Royal Oak, MI March 21st to a crowd of almost 700 people in 3 theaters.

Both premieres were attended by a great diversity of ages and backgrounds ranging from 8-80 and from almost every area of society. Some of the comments by people who filled out comment cards at the premieres were "It was a feel good movie," "It was cool and funny," and "I want to see it again." And the comments were the same from all the attendees. Young and old agree that this movies has hit the right mix of comedy and romance.
