Designed on a similar theme to HandiWorld’s HandiRack, the HR20, released on Wednesday March 21, is designed to carry lighter loads, such as surf boards, canoes, kayaks and ladders, up to a weight of 20 kilograms.
Creator of the novel roof rack, HandiWorld Managing Director Toby Davis, said: “We’re really excited about the release of the HR20, a new challenge to the traditional and out-dated car roof rack. We truly believe the HR20 has great consumer value, and it’s perfect for people who are looking to carry lightweight loads with a minimum of fuss.
“The HR20 is such a versatile and simple-to-use product, we think it’ll really change the way people move stuff from A to B.
“We can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from the HR20,” Davis said. “You can set it up in minutes, it can be used on almost any type of car and you can swap it over to other vehicles too. It’s cheap, light weight and it can carry stuff up to 20 kilograms. It’s perfect for people going on camping trips or to festivals, people travelling to the seaside and people looking to move stuff just about anywhere”.
The HR20 is built upon the premise of being quick, simple and easy to use and it is set to shake up the car roof rack market. According to HandiWorld, the HR20’s inflatable design means consumers will avoid damaging their car rooftops, as can occur with traditional metal roof racks.
