The principals of nearly 50 premier independent insurance brokers—Assurex Global’s North American Partners—will gather at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee on March 20-22 for the 2012 Assurex Global North American Regional Partners’ Conference. International risk management, insurance, and employee benefits experts from Assurex Global Partner firms across the United States and Canada will be in attendance, along with Partners from around the globe. Assurex Global’s CEO, Jim Hackbarth, will host the conference with Chairman Stefan Nill of Germany’s Leue & Nill and Robert Cawley, CEO of Baltimore-based RCM&D and Chairman of the Assurex Global North American Region.

To help understand insurance professionals’ career choices, while shoring up the industry’s talent gap, Assurex Global recently conducted a survey of 4,986 insurance professionals employed by independent Partner firms throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Assurex Global Generational Workplace Audit is the first comprehensive, quantitative study of generations in the insurance industry.
The survey examines generational differences in the workplace among Millennials (ages 29 and younger), Gen-Xers (ages 30–51), and Boomers (ages 52-69). It also provides employers—Assurex Global Partners and others—with a strategic roadmap for the recruitment and retention of the next generation of business leaders and owners.
