PKS copper alloy gardening tools added to Harley Farms' growing list of distinctive, hand-made quality goods and products.

Harley Farms Goat Dairy has a collection of useful and lovely things, made of practical, long-lasting and glorious-to-feel materials like angora wool, soft leather, wood, and bronze. Everything from goat wool socks to baby blankets, eggcups, cheese boards and leatherwork, reflects centuries of craft and tradition and is made by a small family businesses just like us.

We were very pleased to add a full range of copper alloy gardening tools last autumn. They are made in Austria and Hungary by a family business called PKS, who are passionate about adding beneficial traces of copper to the soil as you garden. Muddling along with a motley set of shoddy garden tools can easily fray your back, wrists and temper. We appreciate these well-made, light and handsome tools for their thoughtful design in our own garden projects and think you will too. We are currently the only retail partner in the United States to carry all the traditional tool shapes, plus the specialty weeding tools of great European gardens, and will be happy to demonstrate these to you at our San Francisco Flower and Garden Show booth.

At the Flower Show and in the farm shop, choose one of our Royal Sussex Trugs for your Easter table and egg-hunting. These feather-light baskets are still woven in Sussex, England, of sustainably harvested woods, ever since 1851's Great Exhibition of industry and craft, when Queen Victoria herself stopped by the trug stand, loved them, and bought several as presents for her family! She went on to award the trugs her royal warrant of approval. Trugs are an ancient British craft, first woven in the shape of coracle boats by the Anglo Saxons.
