Dirt and crumbs, beware! The future of messy kitchens, living rooms and hallways looks spotless thanks to the innovative Eureka® SuctionSeal™ with AirSpeed® Technology, which is proven to clean the floor surfaces in your home better than Dyson DC41 at less than half the price*.
Eureka knows that 70 percent of consumers are using their vacuums on bare surfaces like tile, stone and hardwood**. To prevent the pushing, blowing and scattering of debris while vacuuming, the new Eureka SuctionSeal bagless upright vacuum cleaner uses SuctionSeal Technology with All-Surface Suction Plates. This Eureka-exclusive technology concentrates airflow for deep cleaning suction power on all floors. The plates are designed to rise and lower as the vacuum moves across carpet and hard surfaces, creating a seal to maximize airflow for powerful cleaning performance. Whether it’s surface dirt or debris hiding in crevices, it’s all sucked up and away.
“Our consumer research tells us that homeowners want one vacuum that deep cleans all surfaces, including bare floors,” said Allison Khoury, director of marketing services at Eureka. “Consumers hate chasing the dust bunnies and debris that can scatter with most cleaners, so our design team developed the Eureka SuctionSeal vacuum to powerfully clean carpets and effortlessly tackle hard floors, too.”
Newest Vacuum with AirSpeed Techology
The newest addition to Eureka’s popular AirSpeed platform, SuctionSeal features exclusive AirSpeed Technology. Most other vacuums propel air through a long nozzle and hose system full of twists and texturing, which results in lost suction. AirSpeed Technology uses two wide, smooth tubes with limited bends and turns, allowing more air to pass through the vacuum. The direct air path from floor to dust cup decreases the distance for dirt to travel, which increases the amount of airflow for powerful suction.
“Powerful cleaning performance is top-of-mind for our customers, and this technology ensures that, even on hard floors, dirt doesn’t get pushed around or left behind,” said Khoury. “By combining two of our most powerful innovations – SuctionSeal Technology and AirSpeed Technology – we have equipped the Eureka SuctionSeal to deliver a high performance, deep-down clean for any surface at a competitive price.”
In addition, SuctionSeal boasts a no loss of suction system. No loss of suction is achieved with a multi-cyclonic filtration system, which maintains suction power and separates large debris from the fine dust, resulting in less maintenance***. This keeps the filter clean and allows the vacuum to retain maximum air flow and power while vacuuming. After cleaning is complete, an automatic cord rewind retracts the cord effortlessly for quick and easy storage.
For additional cleaning ease, SuctionSeal features:
- Low-profile cleaning nozzle to reach under furniture and close to baseboards to grab hidden dust and dirt
- Foot-controlled on/off brushroll switch to easily transition from bare floor cleaning to deep carpet cleaning
- Stair & Upholstery Turbo Brush for above-the-floor cleaning
- A 27-foot cord and 12-foot hose and wand combination for 39 feet of extended cleaning reach
- Washable, reusable dust cup filter to help users save money
- Flip-bottom dust cup for quick and easy emptying with less mess
“The wide array of new technologies, features and tools on the Eureka SuctionSeal offer consumers the whole-home cleaning power they need at a price they can afford,” said Khoury.
Eureka SuctionSeal retails for $149.88 on walmart.com, and will be available at all Walmart stores nationwide in mid-March 2012. Eureka SuctionSeal Pet will offer additional features for pet owners, including a PET Power Paw® Turbo brush to grab and lift pet hair off of surfaces in the home and a HEPA filter with odor-absorbing charcoal, and will be available for $159.99 at Lowe’s, Best Buy and Sears in mid-March.
