Mr Benhamou is the CEO and Founder of Benhamou Global Ventures, LLC. He served as CEO and Chairman of the board of Palm, Inc. He served as CEO of 3Com Corporation. Currently, Mr Benhamou serves as Chairman of the Board of Cypress Semiconductor and as Director of Real Networks, Inc and of Sillicon Valley Bancshares. He is a Founder and the Chairman of the Israel Venture Network. In 2003, Mr Benhamou was appointed to the U.S. – Israel Science and Technology Comission by U.S. Commerce Secretary Donald Evans. He earned a Masters degree from Stanford University’s School of Engineering. He also holds a Diplome d’Ingenieur and a Doctorate from Arts et Metiers Paris Tech.
Dr Martin Hellman is best known for his invention, with Diffie and Merkle, of public Key Cryptography. His work in cryptography has been recognized by a number of awards, amongst others: IEEE Hamming Medal, the Electronic Frontier Foundation Pioneer Award, National Computer Systems Award, and induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2011. Dr Hellman has participated on numerous professional and civic organizations boards including PayPal’s technical Advisory Board, the Federation of American Scientists, and the National Research Council Committee on National Cryptographic Policy advising U.S. Congress on national encryption policies. In addition to being Professor Emmeritus of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, Dr Hellman is an independent consultant in the areas of cryptography, information theory, communications, and general engineering.
