The overall aim is to make consumers happy with marketing campaigns, rather than make them feel inundated with emails.

With an email database of thousands, it can be costly to communicate. Using external broadcast systems is the typical approach, paying an outside source to send emails to a retailer’s email database. However, one company has built their own system from scratch.
‘We designed our own email proprietary broadcast for two reasons: cost and response,’ explains Alex Attinger, CEO of AJInteractive.
‘The idea is to specify our email campaigns to a database that would be interested. By designing our own broadcast, we’re saving and maximising,’ continues Mr Attinger. ‘The overall aim is to make consumers happy with marketing campaigns, rather than make them feel inundated with emails.’
‘Now we can personalise the system with more control, guaranteeing more response from the database.’
