At REELZCHANNEL we love movies and with so many available on Pay-Per-View and On Demand, some viewers might be hesitant to purchase something they might not like, which makes the Risk-Free promotion so attractive as an entertainment option.

REELZCHANNEL—TV About Movies® today announced The Muppets is the latest REELZ Risk-Free Movie. The Risk-Free Movie promotion is the network’s way of sharing its enthusiasm for movies to viewers who seldom or never watch Video On Demand (VOD) or Pay-Per-View (PPV) movies by offering them a reimbursement if they don’t like the movie. The Muppets REELZ Risk-Free Movie promotion runs from Tuesday, March 20, 2012- April 15, 2012.

“At REELZCHANNEL we love movies and with so many available on Pay-Per-View and On Demand, some viewers might be hesitant to purchase something they might not like, which makes the Risk-Free promotion so attractive as an entertainment option,” said John deGarmo, SVP of Distribution, REELZCHANNEL.

To participate, movie fans simply need to purchase The Muppets on VOD or PPV through their cable or satellite provider between March 20, 2012 and April 15, 2012 and if they don’t like the movie, they simply visit http://www.reelz.com/riskfree to start their reimbursement process. Reimbursement is fulfilled by completing the claim form received via email after the registration and submitting it with proof of purchase during the promotional timeframe.

And since the Risk-Free Movie can only be found at REELZ, The Muppets gets the TV About Movies® treatment throughout the Risk-Free Movie promotional window with several REELZ original shows promoting the movie’s VOD/PPV release with exclusive content from the family comedy.

About The Muppets
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
