Talesun Solar USA, Ltd, the US subsidiary of Zhongli Talesun Solar, a globally positioned, premium producer of solar modules, today announced that it has signed a contract to supply solar modules to New Jersey-based solar developer Alethea Cleantech Advisors LLC. Under the terms of the agreement, Talesun Solar USA will deliver approximately 32 megawatts (MW) of solar modules during 2012.
Talesun Solar’s modules will be installed at three utility-scale ground-mount projects in the state of New Jersey. The projects will be interconnected to the PJM distribution grid and will utilize both the United States Treasury 1603 cash grant and New Jersey’s SREC market for project finance.

Construction of the utility-scale projects is scheduled to begin in late Q2 2012. The first system is expected to achieve commercial operation by end of 2012 with the remaining systems expected to come online shortly thereafter.
