Trada Hires Digital Media Veteran Warren Kay as Chief Revenue Officer to Accelerate its Rapid Growth

Former Yahoo!, IAC/Citysearch and News Corp executive brings more than 14 years of digital and local advertising industry experience to Trada.

Trada, the world’s only performance-based search marketing and Facebook advertising marketplace, has hired Warren Kay, a veteran in the digital media advertising industry. Kay will become Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for sales, marketing and business development at Trada.

Kay comes to Trada from iPromote, a local advertising platform provider, where he served as CEO. Prior to that, he spent 6 years at Yahoo! where he held leadership positions in the Strategic Alliances and Emerging Products Groups. While at Yahoo!, Kay developed and launched the reseller channel, growing it to $200 million annually, and launched the first Yahoo! mobile search ad campaigns. In addition, Kay was responsible for monetization of Yahoo!’s local and small- and medium-business (SMB) markets.

Kay has also held executive leadership roles in sales and corporate development for several digital media companies including Dex One, where he was Vice President of Product Strategy, Fox Audience Networks as Vice President of Local Sales, and IAC Citysearch where he was Director of Sales.
