Customers who lose their cell phone can quickly get back to business or their day-to-day lives with a brand new replacement device. Losing a cell phone is an inconvenience. Replacing it shouldn’t be.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 21, 2012
eSecuritel, a Brightstar company, announced today that it has expanded its Canadian presence by partnering with MTS Allstream to offer its subscribers wireless device insurance and extended warranty plans that will replace lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctioning wireless devices.
MTS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. and one of Canada's leading national communication solutions companies, will make eSecuritel’s device protection program available to new customers and current subscribers upgrading an existing device.
The Wireless Protection Program offers three levels of protection. The Complete Program covers accidental damage (including liquid damage), loss, theft and malfunction after the warranty expires. The Enhanced Program covers loss, theft or accidental damage. The Extended Warranty Program covers malfunction/mechanical failure after the manufacturer warranty expires.
“It’s an unfortunate reality that cell phones go missing, are stolen, or are dropped in a puddle,” said Kelvin Shepherd, president, MTS. “eSecuritel presents us with an easy way to bring our subscribers the peace of mind they deserve. For MTS customers subscribing to this program, these types of situations will no longer have the impact they used to. Customers who lose their cell phone can quickly get back to business or their day-to-day lives with a brand new replacement device. Losing a cell phone is an inconvenience. Replacing it shouldn’t be.”
The program has a quick and efficient process enabling the majority of claims to be processed within five to seven minutes. Once a claim is approved, the customer pays a deductible and is directed to the most convenient MTS retail location to pick up a replacement device. A maximum of two replacement devices are furnished within a 12 month period, not to exceed $1,000 per claim, beginning with the date of the first incident.
“We’re excited to offer MTS a unique program which is proven to increase subscriber satisfaction and loyalty,” said David Leach, CEO, eSecuritel. “With The Wireless Protection Program, MTS is well-positioned to serve its customers with a convenient and efficient device replacement experience that is unsurpassed.”
