VRCompliance is a risk-free solution for communities that want to improve compliance and increase revenue.
Leesburg, VA (PRWEB) March 21, 2012
VRCompliance is now available to help communities identify homeowners who may owe taxes and fees as a result of renting out their properties for short-term rentals.
The online service was developed at the request of several vacation communities to help them collect applicable lodging, sales and personal property taxes as well as licensing fees.
“VRCompliance is a risk-free solution for communities that want to improve compliance and increase revenue. Fees are based on results and there is no cost to find out how many suspected non-compliant properties are in your community,” said Bryan Field, director of sales and marketing for VRCompliance
When the VRCompliance software identifies non-compliant properties, communities receive contact information for the owner as well as information necessary to establish a chain of evidence. This information is available via the secure online VRCompliance Portal. The portal is a single interface to manage the compliance of all the vacation rentals in a jurisdiction as well as receive updates on new vacation rentals.
VRCompliance is currently in use in communities in Colorado and Florida.
