Holy Name Medical Center has announced that PriorityOne, a comprehensive information technology (IT) firm based in New Jersey that specializes in healthcare, has become a preferred vendor to assist its affiliated physicians with electronic medical record (EMR) implementation and readiness. PriorityOne is charged with assessing the readiness of Holy Name Medical Center’s affiliated physicians’ office IT infrastructure, and aid them in the adoption of EMRs.

“PriorityOne will assist our affiliated physicians by helping them to quickly and efficiently integrate their computer and IT systems with Holy Name's systems as the Medical Center adopts electronic medical records. This will make it easier for our affiliated physicians to receive and share patient data with our custom hospital information system and provide complete charting, practice management, and revenue cycle management functionality,” said said Adam Jarrett, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs at Holy Name Medical Center. “PriorityOne will help our affiliated physicians give greater focus to what they do best, provide the care that patients have come to expect,” continued Dr. Jarrett.

As part of Holy Name Medical Center’s commitment to the physician community, PriorityOne’s selection is meant to bring high quality, affordable, critical IT infrastructure and services to each physician office. In addition, under this arrangement, PriorityOne will provide a complementary IT infrastructure readiness assessment for HNMC-affiliated practices related to Aprima’s requirements, Holy Name Medical Center’s EMR of choice. “We chose PriorityOne because of its understanding of the local market and vast experience and expertise in the healthcare related information technology field,” said Jarrett.

“We are honored to be a preferred vendor of Holy Name Medical Center as it helps its affiliated physicians prepare for EMR adoption. As healthcare technology and requirements continue to move at an extraordinary pace, PriorityOne is dedicated to bringing hospitals and physicians the very best technology solutions, and in this case EMR systems integration, to allow physicians and the hospital to gain unprecedented efficiencies,” said Nelson Gomes, President, PriorityOne Consulting.
