The entire industry has benefited from partnerships between revenue focused agencies, like AffiliateTraction and The Search Monitor, as we continue to work together to dismantle disruptive tactics as they occur.

Online performance marketing agency, AffiliateTraction, has announced that it will be the first in the affiliate marketing industry to integrate search brand oversight within its own proprietary interface. AffiliateTraction has chosen The Search Monitor to provide the technology necessary to improve monitoring across the agency's client base. The move is in response to internet retailers' ongoing concerns regarding paid search policy violations that cause them to compete with affiliates in major search engines.

According to Greg Shepard, CEO of AffiliateTraction, "Large internet retailers can be wary of search arbitrage affiliates because of the potential for policy violations that intrude on their own efforts. This often leads to premature termination of affiliates that have the potential to bring large amounts of additional revenue if they are brought in line with merchant policies. Affiliate marketing represents ten to twenty percent of revenue for our clients, so it is our goal to do everything we can to grow revenue while keeping affiliates within the rules of engagement."

To address merchant concerns while limiting ongoing costs, AffiliateTraction has added The Search Monitor as a complimentary service and feature of the company's single point client dashboard. This newly released technology allows clients’ easy and instant access to a variety of statistics and action summaries of AffiliateTraction's management and promotional activities.

Lori Weiman, CEO of The Search Monitor explained why she feels the service is valuable to merchants with affiliate programs, “Affiliate marketing is a strong revenue driver when deployed properly. Since non-compliant affiliates evolve new tricks and tactics frequently, the entire industry has benefited from partnerships between revenue focused agencies, like AffiliateTraction and The Search Monitor, as we continue to work together to dismantle disruptive tactics as they occur.”
