Elms College to Host Medical School Information Session for Students

Elms graduate and current medical student Jesse Columbo will discuss applying to medical school.

Jesse Columbo, a 2008 graduate from the Elms College pre-medical program, will discuss how to prepare for the Medical College Admissions Test.

The Elms College pre-medical program will present an information session for current students interested in applying to medical school at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26 in the Alumnae Library Theatre. Jesse Columbo, a 2008 graduate from the Elms College pre-medical program, will discuss how to prepare for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), extracurricular activities that enhance an application, how to write a personal statement, and how to prepare for the interview.

Columbo is currently enrolled at University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He will graduate in May 2013 and plans to complete a residency in surgery.
