As the beginning of spring approaches, Nomadic State of Mind is preparing for the warm weather and good times. “Feet are craving an unlocking from shoe laces, wool socks, and overall foot prison. They are striving to be set free, to be able to warm in the sun, move freely and not have to lift a heavy boot,” says owner Chris Anderson.

Despite the country’s struggling economy, Nomadic State of Mind, a grassroots company specializing in handmade sandals and organic apparel, has seen record growth over the past two years. This growth has allowed them to expand their product line into even more colors and styles, as well as to grow their apparel selection. Their latest releases include a new color combination for their traditional JC sandals and a new t-shirt just in time for the onset of the spring season.

Nomadic State of Mind currently offers a number of products with the Rasta theme including handpainted ceramic knobs, a slip on rope sandal with Rasta colors and a JC sandal with Rasta design. Their newest sandal will be another JC style sandal, but with new Rasta colors. The other Rasta sandals will no longer be in production and this latest design will take their place. Anyone that finds themselves singing along or turning the radio up a bit when they hear “Three Little Birds” or “Stir It Up” will smile a little brighter when wearing these fun and comfortable sandals.

A new 100% organic cotton t-shirt, made in the US, was added to their mix and is available now on their website. It was inspired by spending the mornings, or evenings - whenever the tide was in, surfing in Nicaragua while the mind cleared and new paths were formed. Their new shirt pictures Nomo sitting by the beach with his surfboard. It reads on the front: "When i close my eyes", and on the back, "I only see las olas" ("waves").

Nomadic State of Mind regularly switches their product offerings to keep things fresh for their many return customers. They currently have other limited edition color combinations on the site currently too: a multicolor JC (fun colors for the straps), brown JC with orange accents and red/gray in the slip on and mountain momma. These are all limited edition, and when they are done - they disappear.
