Interactive agency, IdeaWork Studios, Inc., is the winner of five Coastal California ADDY Awards, presented by the American Advertising Federation of Santa Barbara. Recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising, the Coastal California ADDY competition is open to entrants in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties plus the portion of Los Angeles County that includes Westlake and Agoura. The Coastal California ADDYS, presented by AAF-Santa Barbara, is the first step in the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting approximately 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. IdeaWork Studios received an award for each of their five entries.

IdeaWork Studios, founded by Jay Schwartz in 1999, is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, and has earned an impressive reputation in the fitness, hospitality, nightlife, gaming, and luxury industries. The agency won bronze for their 2011 bus wrap promoting Hard Rock Hotel San Diego’s “Intervention” party, as well as for the website they developed for EDITION Hotels. IdeaWork’s “Train Different” campaign for UFC Gym was lauded with a silver award.

Rounding out the Agency’s five honors are two gold awards, which will earn IdeaWork a place in the AAF’s regional competition, including CA, AZ and southern NV. These premier distinctions recognize the website the agency created for PUBLIC Hotels, Ian Schrager’s latest hotel concept recently opened in Chicago. Including a custom content management system, the site reflects the refined simplicity of the PUBLIC brand. Also earning gold honors is the gym finder Facebook application for Crunch Fitness, allowing users a rundown of the clubs locations and details, including guest passes, class finder, and mobile access.
