Palomar Modular Buildings recently completed final designs for Native American combination Health Care Centers and Child Care Centers. The combination of these two facilities fits a basic need for many isolated Reservations. Training local professionals to man these facilities is a key component of the success of this program. The modular buildings are delivered in 6-10 sections and installed on prepared sites. The amount of time from start to finish is less than 90 days according to John Martin, President of Palomar. Martin explained that “the fact that we have done our design homework means that our customers only have to fine tune layout and specifications that are relevant to their needs and we can go into production after a site visit and normal production preparation.”
The buildings come complete with exam rooms, offices, triage centers, rehabilitation areas, dental service areas, laboratories, kitchen, classrooms and a nursery. By combining these services and using both local and outside professionals, these centers result in a wellness environment that is equal to other larger population center services.
