Westmont, IL (PRWEB) March 26, 2012
Progresa Health Systems announced that they will be showcasing the new Bereavement Module at the NHPCO 27th Annual Management and Leadership Conference at National Harbor, MD. The conference will run from Thursday March 29, 2012 until Saturday March 31, 2012. The Bereavement Module was released with version 7.1 in November 2011.
The Module features the ability to manage Bereavement Letters and Group Attendance Tracking. Customized Bereavement Letters can now be created and/or stored within the Progresa solution. These letters can be scheduled for delivery based on a patient’s Date of Death, and can be directed towards specific related bereavement contacts. Group Attendance Tracking facilitates creating and defining group counseling offerings. The user is able to state where and when the sessions will be held, as well as track registrants and attendees.
“The demand for hospice services in home care has been growing significantly in the past few years,” states Warren Brown, President of the Procura Group of Companies. “This means that agencies that provide these services are overwhelmingly concerned with ensuring the bereavement process is managed in an efficient and expedient manner. They do not need the added stress of the administrative duties that come from managing bereavement letters and setting up the group counseling sessions, necessary to comply with the Conditions of Participation. The enhancements to the Progresa tool ease the burden that hospice administrative staff need to undertake.”
Demonstrations of these new features will be available at booth #634 at the NHPCO 27th Annual Management and Leadership Conference.
