As a sponsor of the 2012 ABA TECHSHOW, Nextpoint is hosting an entire series of presentations on cloud computing and the law presented by top experts in the field. Topics include “How to Stay Safe in the Cloud” and an overview of cloud computing applications and services for lawyers. The sessions begin on Friday, March 30 at 8:00 am in the Expo Hall.
In addition, Nextpoint CEO Rakesh Madhava will present a cloud computing overview titled “Cloud Computing for Lawyers” on Thursday, March 29 at 3 pm. This presentation will introduce the audience to the technology that makes cloud computing, or Software as a Service (SaaS) applications possible, the state of the law regarding such services, and the advantages it provides legal professionals. Visitors can also meet with company representatives in person at booth #813 in the Southwest hall for a demonstration of Nextpoint’s cloud-based, end-to-end litigation technology platform.
The ABA TECHSHOW is the American Bar Association’s annual conference dedicated to helping legal professionals understand the technology available to help solve legal challenges. The event also offers advanced and informative Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit courses dedicated to legal technology, including the Nextpoint-sponsored cloud computing track.
