We want to ensure that our service and support are not diminished due to Softlink only being located in Oxfordshire and this move has been made to maintain our very high standards.
Oxford, UK (PRWEB UK) 22 March 2012
Jane Webber, Sales and Marketing Director for Softlink Europe explains the motivations behind this “We have experienced rapid growth in the North of the UK and expect this to continue across our key market sectors, including Health, Colleges and Law Libraries”.
“We want to ensure that our service and support are not diminished due to Softlink only being located in Oxfordshire and this move has been made to maintain our very high standards. The new office in Manchester will be the main Hub for Professional Services and Sales in the North of the UK, giving customers greater flexibility with how Softlink Professional Services are delivered”.
The expansion from Softlink Europe also sees the introduction of two new customer facing team members to build on the existing team. The extra staff are being bought in to continue the growth that the company is experiencing and support the Softlink team throughout Europe.
Jane finished “We are very excited about the upcoming changes and the positive impact this will have on our customers. The North of the UK has always been very important to Softlink and this move to open new offices proves our commitment to supporting our customers”.
With recent announcements covering the Launch of Softlink’s Liberty Cloud product and successes with the Oliver Hosting LMS, Softlink Europe are looking forward to a very positive 2012 and with new staff and offices the priority Softlink places on customers is being fully demonstrated.
About Softlink Europe
Softlink Europe is a leading provider of Library Management Systems to the Education sector. Softlink’s world renowned systems including Oliver and Liberty have been helping Librarians for over 25 years to deliver innovative solutions to their customers. Softlink has built a reputation for excellence in the library industry over a quarter of a century through its focus on its customers - providing quality Library Management Systems, support and services.
The Oliver LMS has been built to run in schools with complete flexibility over the system and the appearance of the OPAC. As Oliver is entirely web based the system and OPAC can run from any machine with an internet connection, meaning an app for mobile devices is not necessary. In some schools the Oliver OPAC is currently being accessed through iPads by students and this approach has helped librarians engage with pupils and improve the usage of their library.
In cooperation with librarians, Softlink has developed Liberty v5 for Libraries - a solution so flexible it can align with the workflows of a wide variety of users. Liberty is truly capable of managing the most unique collections. Features facilitate the ability to integrate, index, and manage any number of resources with ease and efficiency.
