The Sensu Pavilion - a New Generation Event Structure

The Sensu Pavilion commands attention making it the perfect venue for promotional events, product launches and touring exhibitions.

The Sensu Pavilion is available in a range of sizes and the design can be customised to suit clients' exact requirements. Standard sizes offer 6,500, 8,600 and 10,750 square feet of floor space and yet each can be installed in less than a day on a variety of surfaces including turf and hard standings. Since Tectoniks design and manufacture everything in-house, the pavilion can be supplied in other sizes to suit specific applications.

Like its namesake, (Sensu is a Japanese folding fan), the pavilion packs down to a fraction of its deployed size giving it exceptional portability. The entire structure can be transported on a single truck and does not require cranes or equipment for working at height for its installation.

The Sensu Pavilion commands attention making it the perfect venue for promotional events, product launches and touring exhibitions. It complements the extensive range of Tectoniks portable structures and is available in a variety of colours with options for the addition of branding/artwork.

Built using Tectoniks unique construction methods, the pavilion is a virtually air-tight, high strength structure which can withstand greater loads and operate in more adverse weather conditions than conventional inflatable structures. Tectoniks proprietary joining system allows the structure to be separated into multiple pieces to ease handling and transportation.

The fabrics used are fire-retardant, recyclable, architectural grade coated textiles with exceptional strength, dimensional stability and UV resistance. The pavilion can also be manufactured with fully opaque textiles to prevent light ingression if preferred.

The near air-tight construction of the structure means that very little air is required to maintain pressure resulting in a very compact, quiet, energy efficient inflation system which only needs to operate intermittently.

The pavilion also boats superior acoustic and thermal performance compared with tents/marquees owing to the natural levels of insulation afforded by inflatable walls.
