Company’s Renewed Vision and New Operational and Distribution Strategy Drive Sustained Growth

A leading provider of high-caliber creative products since 1926.

“Our milestone sales in 2011 and strong start in 2012 highlight a bright future ahead as we continue to enhance operations and expand our footprint in the retail, distribution, specialty and school markets," said Marc Jennings, President, Rich Art.

Rich Art, a leading provider of high-caliber creative products, today announced that it has achieved record growth since launching its new operational and distribution strategy last year. The Company’s sales increased by 30 percent in 2011 over the previous year, with heightened demand for its dazzling array of quality, time-tested products continuing into the first quarter of 2012.

For almost a century, Rich Art has helped millions of people in the United States and around the world – from children and educators, to budding artists and professional crafters – express their creativity. As the only company to offer a full line of high-quality products that are formulated with the brightest, natural pigments and are environmentally friendly, 100 percent safe and truly washable, Rich Art has established itself as a leading brand in arts and crafts and educational supply.

Since its acquisition by JWG Capital in 2010, the Company is now even better positioned for continued expansion. Rich Art’s new executive team, led by Marc Jennings, CEO of JWG Capital, and Charlie Generelli, COO of JWG Capital, immediately implemented a process of operational upgrades, innovation and expansion of its distribution network following the acquisition. The team has since leveraged its vision and expertise to successfully execute a new strategy, focused on intensifying multi-channel sales and marketing initiatives, optimizing operations and enhancing Rich Art’s ability to roll out vibrant new offerings that spark the imagination.

“Since taking the reins at Rich Art just over a year ago, we’ve been focused on a key set of goals: upholding the Company’s remarkable legacy of high quality, affordable creative products, while enhancing our ability to serve our customers and provide original new offerings,” said Marc Jennings, CEO of JWG Capital and President of Rich Art. “Our milestone sales in 2011 and strong start in 2012 highlight a bright future ahead as we continue to enhance operations and expand our footprint in the retail, distribution, specialty and school markets.”

Rich Art proudly manufactures and ships all of its products from its production and distribution centre in the United States, thereby providing a competitive advantage in time to market, market-based innovation and a strong customer focus. The Company also subjects its products to rigorous quality testing and has earned the highly respected Arts and Creative Materials Institute Approved Product seal, known as the “gold standard” for non-toxic products.

Rich Art products are available at select retail stores in the U.S. and Canada and online at http://www.richartcolor.com.
