At Deb we are constantly looking to improve our environmental standing and are proud to earn the BioPreferred designation on SBS®40 and Universal Protect.
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) March 23, 2012
Deb is pleased to announce it has received USDA BioPreferred Label Designation on two additional products, SBS®40 and Deb® Universal Protect. Deb now offers eight formulations that are BioPreferred certified.
The BioPreferred program is a Federal purchasing program and voluntary product labeling initiative for bio-based products. The BioPreferred label designation indicates that each product has been independently tested to meet the USDA standards for bio-based content. The purpose of the program is to promote the purchase and use of renewable, environmentally friendly products in the commercial marketplace. BioPreferred designated products are included in a preferred procurement program for Federal agencies and their contractors.
“At Deb we are constantly looking to improve our environmental standing and are proud to earn the BioPreferred designation on SBS®40 and Universal Protect. The USDA BioPreferred label is designed to provide consumers a trusted source to clearly identify products that contain 25% or more of bio-based content,” states Tom Wirostek, Vice President of Marketing for Deb USA, Inc.
SBS®40 is a lightly perfumed, highly effective mild after-work conditioning cream. Universal Protect is a perfume-free, water resistant, non-greasy pre-work cream to help protect skin against water and non- water based contaminants. Deb offers five additional products that carry the BioPreferred Designation: Deb® InstantFOAM hand sanitizer; Deb® Natural Power Wash, a hand cleanser for industrial soilings; Deb® Pure Restore, an after work conditioning cream; Deb® Hair and Body Wash, a hair & body shower gel; Deb® Lotion Wash, a lightly perfumed lotion hand cleanser; and Deb® Pure Wash, a perfume & dye-free lotion hand cleanser.
